jessjulerath@gmail.comMy path as a creative has never been straight. I started out building puppets for stop-motion animation at Stoopid Buddy Studios, moved into graphic design at Sweetgreen, and for the past decade I’ve worked as a creative director across film, television, and brand design. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with HBO, Disney, Netflix, Amazon, FX, and chefs and brands around the world.

Because I’m dyslexic, I couldn’t learn the “normal” way. I had to learn by doing: trial, error, long hours, and endless experiments. That process shaped my own techniques and, eventually, gave me a voice as a designer.
What drives me now is creating visual stories that last. I love mixing old and new, working where traditional design sensibilities meet modern digital tools, giving each project texture and depth.
Music is another part of my process: I always start a project with a playlist to set the mood. Each page of this site has its own soundtrack, filled with the artists who inspire and influence my work.
